I'm a computer graphics researcher at Facebook Reality Labs (Sausalito, California). I got my PhD in the Graphics & Imaging Lab at Universidad de Zaragoza (Spain), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Diego Gutiérrez and Dr. Adrian Jarabo
My research interests cover several topics related to rendering, both offline and real-time, such as global illumination, material appearance and realistic humans. Apart from production-oriented rendering algorithms, I am also interested in understanding how artists work in order to develop tools for improving their workflows.
I'm really passionate for animated films, not only from the technical side, but also from the artistic perspective, since I've been working as a digital and traditional artist for several years now (see art section).
